START WITH THE PIECE YOU HAVE
Jewelry repair questions.
A clearer first conversation.
A broken clasp, a ring that no longer fits or an heirloom you want to discuss each calls for different information. Flawless Ice starts with an online or phone consultation to understand your request and confirm the options available for your piece.
Atlanta and Indianapolis customers are welcome to inquire. Consultations are remote; there are no in-person appointments. Do not send jewelry before Flawless Ice provides handling and delivery instructions.
Describe the piece and the change you want
Tell us whether you have a ring, necklace, bracelet, watch or another item. Describe the issue in your own words and when you first noticed it. If you know the metal, size, brand or model, include it; unknown details can remain unknown at this stage.
- Ring fit or repair: describe the fit concern or visible damage and any known previous alterations. Ask what assessment is needed before a resizing or repair option can be confirmed.
- Chains and clasps: say where the problem is, whether the chain or fastening is affected, and whether you still have any detached parts.
- Stones and settings: describe what appears loose, missing or damaged without trying to diagnose the cause. Ask which information is needed for an assessment.
- Watches: share the brand, model if known and the issue you want addressed. Service availability must be confirmed for that watch.
- Sentimental or inherited jewelry: explain which details you want preserved and any changes you would not want made.
Questions to ask before approving work
A first inquiry is not a repair diagnosis or a fixed quote. Before proceeding, ask:
- What assessment is required, and is there a charge for it?
- Which work is proposed, what does the price include, and what remains uncertain?
- How will any additional work or cost be presented for your approval?
- What timing can be confirmed after the piece and requested work are reviewed?
- What handling, delivery and service terms apply to this particular request?
Share any important date early, but wait for an agreed timeline before relying on it. Repair scope and available options depend on the individual piece.
Request your consultation
Open the consultation button to find the email request and phone options. In your email, include a short description, your preferred times and your time zone. You must send the draft from your email app; opening it alone does not submit a request. Your appointment is confirmed after Flawless Ice replies.
If your goal is a new design rather than work on an existing piece, our custom jewelry consultation guide covers design preferences, budget and timing.
Can you confirm a price from a description?
A description helps start the discussion, but it does not establish the condition of the piece or authorize work. Ask what further review is needed before a price and scope can be agreed. The website does not promise that every item can be repaired or resized.
